The scope of this website is to introduce ourselves to other 'netizens', share my interests and pastimes and provide a little bit of information as well. In my links page you will find a selection of my favourite stops while browsing on the Net and even more.

Most of the people my wife and I meet on the internet surprise us. When we introduce ourselves in chat or write email and mention where we're from, we are often asked: "MALTA? Where's that?" This also happens when we are abroad on Holiday. It's true Malta is a tiny European Island in the central Mediterranean Sea. You will have a challenge spotting it on a map of Europe and don't even bother to look for it on a map of the World. Anyway it is there alright and hosts over 360,000 friendly people and a lot of sunshine and gentle winter weather. Speaking of our weather, if you plan a visit to our lovely Island for your next holiday, how about a Weather forecast for the Maltese Islands or, thanks to France Meteo, a Satellite Image forecast for Europe up to noon tomorrow (cet)?

Do you watch Satellite T.V? You can go to the Satellite links page where you will find a link to all you need to know regarding satellite T.V. reception. Yes there are even links to the most popular digital packages where you can see full program listings of your favorite channels. And there are links that tell you which station will screen the football match you would like to watch.

The article is divided in three parts starting from a basic introduction for beginners to more advanced topics such as fine tuning, speaker placement, Dolby Digital and DTS. I have also started work on a new page that deals with my rediscovered childhood hobby - Model Trains. You will also find links here to web resources discussing the historic Malta Railway as well as a few vintage photographs of my own on this subject.
The Music page is still in its early stages but at least we have now got the ball rolling .....
